GROWN UPS

Grown Ups. Maybe one of the greatest discoveries I've made this month. Seriously. Such a good band, and I'm basing this entirely on one four song demo! They are refreshing and inspiring in so many ways, and they make me completely excited about music again. It's like Colossal, Braid, Lifetime, and old Blink-182 had some weird, but totally cool little brother. Since my discovery, I have gotten in contact with them and sent money for a cassette tape. It was also recently announced that they will be recording a full length soon, which I am really fucking excited about. Another thing that completely blows me away is that all of them are or around my age. We (they) are the future!!!

Disposable cameras make for very rich, yet muted, out of focus photographs. I'm a fan. Tuesday (photographed in the grey skirt) kindly pointed out that all of these photos look "very 90's". It was a beautiful grey, autumn day. My kind of jam, if you know what I mean.

microcosmic!

Something that is repeatedly said at MCAD time and time again is that, as artists we should never "burn our bridges" with other artists in our community, as they might be able to hook us up in the future. But you know what? Sometimes you just gotta draw the people you really don't like during a morning class. Hey, we can't like everyone.

Failure to blog due to reality, lack of words, lack of interest, recent obsession with Diet Dr. Pepper, black coffee, near death experience (ambulances, I.V., etc), grazing skins, exciting traveling projects with distant friends, and so forth.
